Stay Cool During Summer

We are in the mid of may, the hottest month of the year. And its lockdown time too, so everyone is staying at their home in these hot summers. Some must be using AC, cooler, stand fan, ceiling fan and etc. This is the varieties of electronics one can use in hot summers.

Other than these electronics, there are many options to stay cool in summers. Ways to stay cool in heat are:

1. Wear cotton and light color clothes

Cotton clothes make one fresh and passage of air is easy. Cotton is the best fabric to wear in summers and in hot weathers. It does not absorb the sun lights and make humans chill.

On other hand light color give freshness to eyes, and it reflects the sun radiation and does not transform into heat.

2. Stay hydrated

Staying hydrated is very important. As it makes you toxic free and maintain the functions of body system that includes heart, brain, muscles. Drink atleast 8-10 glasses of water.

Fruits which have high water content.

Eat water rich fruits such as musk melon, water melon, oranges, grapes, pineapple, cranberries, raspberries, strawberries. Even banana comes in watery fruit. Although it does not look like a watery fruit but it contains 72% of water.

High water content vegetables.

The high water content vegetables which are best and refreshing in hot weather are cucumber, tomatoes, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, lettuce, spinach.

You can drink juices, lemon water, coconut water, bael juice, rose sharbat, khas sharbat, curd, chaas also known as butter milk.

3. Avoid day outing

Avoid day outing in noon time. This is because noon time records the highest temperature of the day and this can make you ill also. The hot breeze can lead to fever, motions, makes your body weak. This can lead to sun tanning also and sun tanning causes dark red patches on skin. It is itchy and gives you discomfort.

                             Avoid eating too much

Yes, you read that right: Avoid overeating. Eating too much produces heat from inside and makes you feel heavy and makes your stomach bloating. Avoid eating with your full stomach. It gives you easiness and relaxation to your body.

Eating less has one more benefit; it makes you slim and healthy. That’s why  it says summers is best time to shed away your extra kilos and lose weight. Because you switch to liquids, eat less. This cut down your calorie intake and makes you fit.

5. Yoga


Yoga

Yes, Yoga is great practice to do in summers. It relaxes your body and mind and give you coolness. As going to gym is not easy it produces too much sweat and it’s irritating. So give a try to yoga and meditation. And connect spiritually to god.
Try eating raw onions with your meal daily. It prevents you from hot summer’s breeze.
At last, stay hydrated, stay healthy, stay fit!
